The Scottish Voyage
During our travels in The Highlands of Scotland, we decided to rent a boat on a Scottish Loch, named Loch Goil. (The Loch was named Goil, not the boat!)
In the Loch, there were supposed to be many animals! Including lil fish, Porpoise, many birds and even a group of 50 seals! With me really wanting to see the latter.
So, we drove towards the Loch, got on the boat, and took off! We had our own boat for a few hours allowing all of us to drive around! It wasn't a fast boat, but it was nice sitting and feeling the wind, hearing the water and seeing all the animals/landscapes!

The Landscapes
We saw many mountains while cruising around. They looked insane compared to the landscapes we have in the Netherlands: Giant hills, forests on those hills, all around the Loch. Looked amazing.
The Seals
The person we rented the boat from said there were about 50 seals in the Loch, so I was incredibly excited. Seals are so adorable <3
And we spotted one!
The seal poked their face out of the water, just chilling! But as we continued, we just didn't see any other seals. I was getting a bit sad about the fact we only saw one...
Until we saw 2 more just a few minutes before we had to bring the boat back!
And just a bit further, we saw a GIANT group of seals! We counted around 25 seals! They were just vibing on a beach, some small seals, some big seals, some looked like they were sleeping, some were moving around! But they all looked adorable!
Other Animals
We sadly didn't see any fish, but there were many birds! Especially seagulls, they were everywhere! They didn't try to grab food from the boat luckily, or even got close. We did throw a few tiny bits of food off the boat for them, and every time a big flock of seagulls flew towards it, trying to grab some!
We spotted another type of bird too!
All in all, it was a fun ride! We ate lunch on the boat, spotted some animals, and just enjoyed the views. The mountains look a lot different on water than on land!
