Going to the UK!
I'm going on a trip to Scotland! Seeing sights, going on walks, taking pictures. So the next few blogs will be about that!
So let's start with this blog. The trip to the UK! (So everything is nice and chronological, even though I already have some very nice photos of some castles and mountains :D)
We went with a boat from Amsterdam to New Castle. But to get there, we had to drive quite a distance (a great distance for the Netherlands at least). I drove the majority, until we stopped at a McDonalds near schiphol! We even saw some planes while eating!

After that, we ordered some food, I got a burger and a milkshake! Still the not-so-great McDonalds quality!

Sidenote, our order number was a fun number! 128, hehe, like the computer number.. hehe.

So we ate, took a quick toilet break, and went back on the road. This time with me in a back seat. Took quite a few photo's of some interesting things! But most interesting were the vehicles I saw on the highway. It was good weather, so loads of motorcycles drove past us, and some cool looking cars too! Sadly could only get 1 image of a motorcycle, and 1 image of a car, but gosh. That car is probably the favorite one I have seen on the trip thus far! The color of it was immaculate.

And after all of that, we finally arrived at our destination. The boat!

Like the previous times, it was gigantic. So many people, cars, even lorries can fit on it, it's an incredible piece of engineering to make that thing float from one country to the next! And I could just sit back and enjoy the views of the sea!

It started getting late though, so it was time for dinner! We didn't reserve at the lil restaurant on the boat for dinner though. It was a self-serve type deal. Pay once, and eat until your full. But the food was incredibly dry, with any drinks costing money extra! Maybe it's just that a boat can't have proper ingredients, but gosh, how do you manage to make soup taste dry?!
So we did not do that, but brought our own dinner, a nice "Broodje Bal", just some bread, and a giant, very seasoned meatball. No sauces, but it's very filling. And tastes good (if you're hungry on a boat without any other food hehe), but it genuinely tastes better than what the photo might look like.

After that, we chilled a bit inside our cabin. It's not a big room, but it doesn't have to be. It has four beds, two of them being foldable and above the other two beds. We had our own shower and toilet too!
I personally just listened to some music which I downloaded (Youtube To MP3 go brrr), and half an episode of an anime. (Might do an anime/story review on this site? Could be cool?) I did download about 33GB of anime, but barely watched it since we had plans! Movie night on the boat!
So apparently, there's a sort of cinema on the boat too? We ordered some tickets for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, some snacks (I got naccho's with hot sauce and a very funky cheese dip), and some drinks! (Knockoff fanta for me).
And WOW was it fun, besides the fact that we just got put in a dark room with a single big TV in front, the movie was great. The story isn't the best in my opinion (I barely watch starwars), but the fight/action scenes were great! And Grogu was so adorable. I don't want to spoiler anything, but I wanna bet that Grogu and Mando are the greatest team in the entirety of Star Wars. Also, weird slug guy is nice too. He's nice with Grogu.

And that was that day! It was getting late, so we decided to head back to the cabin, and go to sleep!
Sorry for this sort of cliffhanger, but this page is already quite long compared to the others, and I have some gosh darn Minecraft Uno to play.
Next blogs will be about the second day on the boat, the walks we.. walked, the castles we've seen and more!
